RBS (Reassembling Bike Specialist) CUSTOMS Ltd are custom motorcycle builders.
We build you a custom cafe racer to your specification. Also we can build you a classic style, retro style, bratstyle, bobber, street tracker or a bike of your own design.
If you have and old bike you would like to revive and give a new lease of life then let us see what we can do for you. We work for your budget and will do the best job to creat the look you wanted. Also we are making many of our own parts.

The History Of Cafe Racer

The Café Racer is a term was adopted by British motorcycle riders in the early 1960s. The "Rockers" from the "ton-up boy" culture of the 60’s were the main builders and riders of café racer machines. The term refers to a style of motorcycle that was and is used for fast rides from one "transport café or coffee bar to another. Motorcycles of this type were also common in Italy, France, and other European countries. The most famous transport café is London's "Ace Café" which dates back to before WWII. Originally opened in 1938 The Ace Café London closed in the late 60's and was opened again in the 90's by Mark Wilsmore and some business partners and by the turn of the Millennium had returned to its former glory and has again become a favourite ride out for motorcyclists from all over the world. Other favourite haunts of motorcycle fans were "The Busy Bee" on the A41 in Watford, great spot as this was the main arterial route north before the M1 was built. Read more.
